It does have a splashy feel, which is a bit unsettling, but it's very beautiful and seems like a great value for the price. When I filled it with tap water, it left white marks on my clothes. I looked it up and it said you should fill it with purified or bottled water. I was surprised by the white marks the first time I tried it.
